Looking at the workout screen (on Android) I noticed that each workout has both a time and a distance associated with it. Since the workout is time based, what is the purpose of the distance? I.e. if it's a 30 minute workout and the distance is 2.5mi, should I be running at 12 min/mi? Are those distances dynamic - so that if my fitness improves, will the same workout turn into 30min/3.0 mi?
I ask this, because I imagine this should be a good measuring stick - i.e. Vi knows what pace I should run at during intervals and speedplays, so it shouldn't be hard to set a distance measuring stick.
