I love Vi. I am using it, just for half a year now. I train with the Vi Sense headphones.
The custom running plan is just it. As long as you follow the exact instructions of what Vi says.
I had days where I felt like I could do more and run faster and farther. On the next day I was exhausted and I got mad about why I could not make the run to the end or as fast as I planned it.
Simply I did to much and the lack of success within my runs started to demotivate me.
Then I started all over: Set a new plan, New goals, new approach to my runs.
I started to follow the exact plan, that was given to me. And the results came right in. I started to run faster, longer and feel better because I had easy runs in my training. In the beginning I never ran easy runs. Big mistake. I wanted to lose weight as fast as possible. Like all of us...
Now I follow the guided plan and I am improving my form and getting better. I have 2 Races planned this year. A 8.5 km trail run in the Summer and a Halfmarathon in Autumn.
Over all I have to say, that Vi as a trainer with the guided Workout Plans is the best training expierience ever. I holds me back from overtraining, and keeps me getting better.
So my big Tip is: Make up a training plan and stick to it. No matter if it feels to easy or you feel like doing not enough, or even to much. Vi knows exactly how much is to much and the training plans are so good, that you will never ever overtrain.
